HISTORY
The year was 1982 when a young woman by the name of Isadora bore a son. One look and she knew that there was something different about her son. The young woman couldn't bare to look at her child anymore, and sent him through an adoption agency. Through the adoption process, Isadora found a loving home for what she deemed, her unnatural boy.
In 1983, Frank and Abella finalized their adoption papers for Atticus. They brought him home and as they did so, a few months later, were expecting a child of their own. Ecstatic with the news that Atticus would soon have a little brother or sister, the boy was handed off to many nannies so the his new parents could prepare for the arrival of their new child. Their own child. As the day neared where the Klausen family would receive their new bundle of joy, Frank and Abella spent less and less time with Atticus, always leaving him with a new nanny.
As he grew older, his parents became estranged. They didn't bother getting to know their son, as they now had a beautiful baby girl to bow to. Atticus was always a well mannered young boy. He received the highest achievements in school and never faltered when he had to be polite at social gatherings. Atticus was a prized child that any parent would be more than lucky to have. To the Klausen family, he was nothing. He was a nobody, he was a mistake that they had made. There was always something wrong with him despite his greatness. His little sister Helena, on the other hand was Atty's best friend. She was there for him when their parents were being unfair and she was the only one who would congratulate him for getting all A's, or for winning a gold medal for his track meets.
Atticus never held anything against his sister, knowing that he was adopted since he was three. Atticus was angry, sure, but it was easier to know that they were not his real parents in the first place. It wasn't his parents that made leaving difficult, it was the special bond between himself and Helena. They were inseparable throughout their lives. When it was finally time for him to set himself free, Atticus said goodbye to his dear sister. He told her that he would come back for her once she had tuned eighteen in the months that followed.
Atticus gave Helena his word, and six months later, he showed up on his parents doorstep. He knocked a few times and waited patiently until the door had opened. His parents let him in and they celebrated Helena's 18th birthday. Atticus was set on keeping his promise, however, being the type of man that he was, he asked for his parents blessing in doing so. They heard him out and laughed in his face. They told him that they would never let their daughter run away with someone like him. They told him that he was a mistake and that if he ever tried to take their baby girl away from them, he would pay a price. Atticus watched in horror as his little sister ran to her room in tears. Atticus was then escorted out and was told to never return.
Frustrated and unbelievably angry, Atticus stormed off into the night. Unbeknownst to him, there was a creature following his every move. There were tales of the creatures that were half human and half wolf. A creature that could kill you with one bite. The werewolf. There had been folklore surrounding his town for many generations, yet Atticus did not believe it. He should have.
While walking through the wooded areas to get back to his small campsite, Atticus was attacked by one of the creatures the folklore surrounded. A werewolf had taken him by surprise and bit him before his rescuer could chase him away. Since the age of eighteen, Atticus has been deemed a werewolf. Their kind was hated in most cultures, however, he found peace and refuge in Hollow Falls.
Atticus is now on the hunt to find his little sister Helena. He had caught wind that she was travelling near Hollow Falls, and would possibly pass through his humble town.
